MikroTik is back with the new CME Gateway!
With the CME Gateway, you can send data over the mobile network, just like our phones do. It has two Ethernet ports, an onboard CPU, a little RAM, and a powerful built-in CAT-M narrowband LTE modem. For extremely efficient, low-cost, low-bandwidth mobile internet connectivity. Of course, narrowband won't be able to stream YouTube videos, but it offers better network coverage and transmits data via the most affordable data plans in the world.
With an IP65 water resistance rating, this robust unit can survive in various harsh environments and setups: damp basements, rainy forests, agricultural equipment, and more. It has PoE-in, PoE-out, and a 2-pin DC terminal for convenient powering. To make management even easier, a single-chain 2.4 GHz wireless network has been added - so you can use the MikroTik smartphone app to configure everything.
Additionally, as a bonus, the board supports GPS. So, if you're proficient in RouterOS scripting, you can try collecting location data weekly, daily, or even hourly!
