RUTX11 has been certified for passenger trains in Europe.
The RUTX11 industrial cellular router from Teltonika Networks has recently been certified according to the European standard EN 45545-2. This standard is a technical specification for fire protection on Europe's railways and defines the safety rules that passenger trains in Europe must comply with.
Inside passenger trains, the RUTX11 will create a reliable Wi-Fi hotspot for passengers to work and play while travelling. It will also give trains the benefits of Industry 4.0, such as connected CCTV, digital signalling, remote communication with staff and more.
