We would like to inform you of upcoming product changes. The links in this newsletter will direct you to a product's Wiki PCN page.
First, starting from Q2 2024, the products listed below will be manufactured with updated MAIN and RF PCB. This update will include a new USB hub, USB-UART ICs, and ADC, as well as SIM card presence triggers to SoC GPIO, shift register clearing circuitry, and pull-down resistors on pins to address potential issues that may arise when shift registers are in the tri-state high-z state.
The products affected are:
RUT901 | RUT906 | RUT951 | RUT956
In addition, RUT906 and RUT956 will have micro SD support starting with this change.
Please note that new hardware support will start with firmware version RUT9M_R_00.07.06 FW. Older firmware versions will not be compatible and custom firmware created from an SDK will need adjustments for a new SDK version.
Secondly, to reduce lead times for the TSW200 and TSW210, the EEPROM hardware component of those devices will be replaced with an analogue part starting from 2024 Q2.
