Notification of Changes in Teltonika Products

Notification of Changes in Teltonika Products

Dear customer, we would like to inform you about the upcoming changes to Teltonika products.

Firstly, starting from 2024, the previous screw-on DIN rail bracket in multiple switches has been replaced with an integrated one. As a result, the product handling process may require a review. The affected products are: TSW114 | TSW200 | TSW210

Secondly, starting from July 2024, the silver housing of TSW200 and TSW210 will be replaced with a black one. Additionally, starting from August 2024, the silver housing of RUTX12 will also be replaced with a black one. These changes will be implemented gradually over a transitional period of 3 months, starting in July and August, respectively.

Thirdly, starting from June 2024, the carton envelope packaging of the 4-pin-to-barrel socket adapter and the power cable with a 4-way screw terminal will be replaced with a cardboard box. This box will include additional information such as minor technical details, QR code, company information, certification markings, and EAN-13 barcode. The packaging change for the terminal will start in June 2024, and the adapter packaging change will start in August 2024. These changes will be implemented gradually over a transitional period of 2 months.

Finally, starting with version 7.07 of RutOS, which will be released in Q2 2024, all Teltonika Networks devices running RutOS will uniformly reset logs and RMS connection state data to factory defaults when using the reset button. Other reset methods will not be affected by this change. In the case of cellular devices, SIM PIN settings will also reset to factory defaults. Failure to set up the SIM PIN after resetting via the reset button may result in SIM card lockout due to repeated incorrect PIN entries, causing service disruption and requiring either SIM replacement or PIN reset. The loss of device logs upon utilizing the reset button may disrupt operational records and slow down subsequent troubleshooting efforts. The device will still be visible in RMS after such a reset but will be inaccessible until it is re-added. The products affected by this change are as follows:

RUT200 | RUT241 | RUT260 | RUT300 | RUT301 | RUT360 | RUT361 | RUT901 | RUT906 | RUT951 | RUT956 | RUTX08 | RUTX09 | RUTX10 | RUTX11 | RUTX12 | RUTX14 | RUTXR1 | RUTX50 | RUTM50 | OTD140 | TCR100 | TRB140 | TRB141 | TRB142 | TRB143 | TRB145 | TRB245 | TRB246 | TRB255 | TRB256 | TRB500 | TAP100 | TAP200
